Plan around real teaching days

The calendar gap between two dates is not the number of days you actually teach. Weekends, public holidays and school breaks all come out. This school days counter gives you the true count of instructional days, which is what you need for pacing a unit, planning revision or counting down to an exam.

How to use it

Pick a start and end date. The tool counts weekdays by default, but you can untick any day your school does not teach. Then list your holiday and break dates, one per line, to subtract them. The result is your instructional-day count, along with the total calendar days and an estimate of school weeks.

Pace your curriculum

Knowing you have, say, 38 teaching days before an exam changes how you plan. Divide your topics across the real days available and build in revision time. For laying out the lessons themselves, the Lesson Plan Generator helps you structure each one.
